Highway 407〔http://www3.ttc.ca/About_the_TTC/Commission_reports_and_information/Commission_meetings/2010/Sept_30_2010/Supplementary_Reports/Toronto_York_Spadina.pdf〕 is a subway station under construction on the Spadina line extension, the western branch of the Yonge–University–Spadina line of the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC). It is located at the southwest corner of the Jane Street and Highway 407 ETR interchange (currently vacant farmland), in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, and it is expected to open in the autumn of 2016. This will be one of the new stations on the University-Spadina leg that are outside the City of Toronto in York Region. ==Description== Current plans for the station show a large parking lot and large surface bus route terminal, as well as the underground subway station. This station will be engineered and positioned in conjunction with a proposed (not yet designed) underground bus stop for the proposed GO Transit Highway 407 Transitway.〔http://www3.ttc.ca/About_the_TTC/Commission_reports_and_information/Commission_meetings/2009/November_17_2009/Reports/TYSSE_Highway_407_St.pdf〕 On 27 November 2009 the official ground breaking ceremony was held for the Spadina Extension, and major tunneling operations began in June 2011. The project is expected to be completed by late 2016-2018.〔() TYSSE Schedule Status Update〕 The architecture firm Aedas has been commissioned for the design; this is still somewhat in flux, with only the components directly related to the subway facility being set out in detail. Facilities to handle both municipal buses and the GO Transitway are sketched in. The subway station will have an open design, particularly to the east overlooking Black Creek. Due to structural elements related to the water table, the centre platform at the line level will have no columns, all weight being transferred to the sides to counter buoyancy.〔()〕 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Highway 407 (TTC)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
